By accessing therapywithbetty.com and using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

Services Provided

Therapy with Betty provides online therapy services to adults in the state of Texas. Services are provided by Betty Lopez, LPC, a licensed professional counselor in Texas (License #20108).

Not an Emergency Service

Therapy with Betty is not an emergency or crisis service. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or go to your nearest emergency room.

Eligibility

Our services are available to adults (18 and older) located in Texas. By scheduling a consultation, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

Consultations

The free 15-minute consultation is an opportunity to determine whether we are a good fit for working together. It does not constitute a therapeutic relationship or guarantee of services.

Fees and Payment

Our fees are disclosed prior to scheduling. By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that you have been informed of and agree to our fee structure. We do not accept insurance.

Confidentiality

All therapy sessions are confidential in accordance with HIPAA and Texas state law. Exceptions include:

• Risk of harm to yourself or others

• Abuse or neglect of a child, elderly person, or dependent adult

• Court order

Telehealth

Services are provided via secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms. You are responsible for ensuring a private and appropriate environment during sessions.

Cancellation Policy

Please cancel or reschedule appointments with at least 24 hours notice. Late cancellations and no-shows may be subject to a fee.

Intellectual Property

All content on therapywithbetty.com — including text, images, and graphics — is the property of Betty Lopez Inc. and may not be reproduced without permission.

Limitation of Liability

Therapy with Betty is not liable for any damages arising from your use of this website or our services beyond what is required by Texas state law.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
